WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL’S DATES/TIMES?

Tortuga will take place Nov 12-14, 2021. Gates times will open around 12pm & the show will end around 10pm every night.

CAN I COME ON SITE AND SELL STUFF?

No. Vending of any kind is strictly prohibited on and around Tortuga Music Festival. This will be strictly enforced. You can apply to become one of our craft vendors here.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT TO GET INTO THE FESTIVAL?

Nope, we welcome all ages!

ARE KIDS FREE?

Children 6 and under will receive free General Admission.

WHAT’S THE POLICY ON LEAVING AND RE-ENTERING THE FESTIVAL DURING THE DAY?

You will be able to exit and then re-enter the Festival once a day for whatever reason you see fit. If you need to enter and exit more than once a day, please send us an email at info@tortugamusicfestival.com.

WHAT CAN’T I BRING INTO THE VENUE?

Attendees are NOT permitted to bring any of the items listed below into the venue:

– Outside alcohol

– Any beverages aside from: one (1) 20oz factory sealed bottle of water.

– Glass bottles or containers

– Blankets

– Zoom lens cameras, selfie sticks, go pros, drones, or any other recording devices

– Coolers or large bags

– Illegal substances

– Large Umbrellas

– Animals (except service animals)

– Musical instruments

– Weapons of any kind

– Fireworks

– Sharpies, stuffed animals, markers, or spray paint

– Tents, umbrellas, or shade structures of any kind

– Flags/totem poles

– Bicycles, skateboards, scooters

– Grills

Aerosol cans of any kind

– Toys, water guns or squirt guns

– In-line skates, roller skates, skateboards, or bikes

– Balloons/balls/inflatables

– Sticks, bats, or clubs

– iPads or tablets

– Any item deemed to be unsafe by venue management

– Selling of merchandise or unauthorized/unlicensed vending. Unauthorized solicitations, handbills, stickers, sampling, give-a-ways, etc

– Laser pointers or glow sticks

NEW BAG POLICY:
Small totes, backpacks, and fanny packs are welcome inside the festival venue as long as they are clear and are 12”x6”x12” or smaller. No clear plastic shopping/grocery bags will be permitted. Hydration packs (i.e. camelbaks) that are 1.5L or smaller (no pockets) and clutch purses/wallets that are 4.5”x6.5” or smaller do not have to be clear. Medically necessary bags and diaper bags are also welcome.

*PLEASE NOTE: ALL PATRONS AND ALL BAGS WILL BE SEARCHED EACH TIME YOU ENTER THE FESTIVAL. ANY AND ALL CONFISCATED ITEMS OR ANY ITEMS VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERED, WILL NOT BE HELD, CHECKED OR RETURNED.

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE FESTIVAL?

– SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN, SUNSCREEN! (non-aerosol)

– Sunglasses, hats, fanny packs

– 1 reusable gallon sized bag of snacks will be allowed in

– Small camera with no detachable zoom lens or flash

– EMPTY water bottles, Yetis * Fill ’em up for free at one of the water stations inside the festival.

– Personal beach towels are allowed (you cannot use it to “hold spots” around you)

– Lawn chairs: low-profile beach chairs, bag chairs or inflatable couches. They must be set up in the designated chair zone. Chairs may not be set up close to the stage and no holding spots.

– Prescription medicine: All prescription medicines must be in a marked bottle along with photo matching ID

– Baby Strollers

– E-Cigs

WHAT ARE THE ENTRY POLICIES?

Will COVID-19 at home testing be accepted?

At-home Covid test results will only be accepted if there is a link to results you can print from a medical platform.

Is vaccination required for entry?

NO, vaccination is not required to enter the festival. Please bring a printed copy of a negative COVID-19 test result. The negative COVID-19 printed test result must be obtained within 72 hours of entering Tortuga Music Festival and the COVID-19 test result must include your name, date of test, and test result.

I have a 3-day festival pass. Will I need to bring a printed copy of my negative COVID-19 test result or vaccination card each day?

Yes, you will need to present these each day upon arrival to the festival for entry.

A member of our group is under 12 years of age and is ineligible for vaccination, can he/she still attend Tortuga?

Any unvaccinated fans under 12 years of age will be required to provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 72 hours prior to entering the festival.

I am ineligible for vaccination due to underlying health conditions, am I still able to attend?

Unvaccinated fans with a valid medical restriction will be required to provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test prior to entering the festival.

CAN I BRING IN MY MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION AND/OR DIABETIC INSULIN INSIDE THE VENUE?

If you are bringing prescription medication, please make sure that it abides by the following:

    • The medication is carried in the original manufacturer container.
    • The medication has a prescription label.
    • The label matches your government-issued photo ID.
    • You will need to advise the security guard of your items at the gate, who will contact the medical team to get your medications officially cleared by them.

WHAT TIME DOES EVERYTHING START/END?

Gates will open around 12pm everyday. The show will end around 10pm every night.

WHAT IS THE RESTROOM SITUATION?

There are plentiful port-a-johns and hand washing stations on site for General Admission patrons. For VIP, SVIP, and Cabana pass holders air-conditioned, flushable restrooms are provided.

ARE THERE LOCKERS ON SITE?

IS THERE A FIRST AID STATION/MEDIC ON SITE?

Of course! First Aid tents will be onsite staffed with Paramedics. Please ask any staff member and they will point you in the right direction. Here is some other important safety info to note:

  • Wear some type of shoes/sandals – the sand can become very hot.
  • Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
  • Take a picture of your Driver’s License and keep on your phone for ID purposes.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

There is no parking at the festival. We suggest taking a water taxi or rideshare!

DO YOU SELL ALCOHOL?

We do to those who are of legal age and have a legal state ID. This is a country music festival isn’t it!?

WILL YOU HAVE A PLACE I CAN CHARGE MY CELL PHONE?

Yes, we’ll have a spot you can recharge your phone at the festival.

WILL THERE BE ANY GLUTEN-FREE FOOD OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes, we’ll have a variety of food options available.

CAN I GO INTO THE OCEAN?

Access to the ocean is not available from the festival.

CAN I ANCHOR MY BOAT BY THE FESTIVAL?

Boats will not be allowed to anchor off shore near the festival and will be highly patrolled by local authorities.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE OR BREAK MY WRISTBAND PRIOR TO THE FESTIVAL?

Don’t lose or break it. Wristbands that have been tampered with will be void and lost wristbands cannot be replaced for any reason. There is a $10 Wristband Replacement Fee for wristbands that have been lost, damaged, or tightened too tight before placing on wrist.Please email info@tortugamusicfestival.com if you have questions.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS ON MY ACCOUNT FOR MY WRISTBANDS?

Now is a good time to check that your shipping address is current and make any edits needed (deadline Oct 1). If you know you don’t need to change your shipping address, you don’t need to do anything.
To check/edit your shipping address, follow these steps:

3. Click “Your Account” (or your Name) to navigate to and click “Order History”
5. Click “View Order Detail”
6. Scroll down and click “Edit” by the shipping address

I PURCHASED A 3-DAY PASS BUT CANNOT ATTEND 1 DAY OF THE FESTIVAL, CAN I GIVE MY WRISTBAND FOR SOMEONE TO USE THAT DAY?

You are the only person who may use your wristband and cannot pass it to another to use. It should be placed on your wrist tight enough that it cannot slip off. Wristbands that have been tampered with or shared with someone after already used will be void and cannot be replaced for any reason.
A Collectible Credential is a special keepsake in addition to your wristband. For a small upcharge, you can add a cool keepsake to your order. The Collectible Credential will include the year’s customized artwork. Please note: the Collectible Credential does not allow access to the festival. Collectible Credentials are sold out!

I SAW SOMEONE SELLING PRINT AT HOME TICKETS. ARE THEY LEGIT?

Nope, there are no print at home options for this show. Be really careful buying anywhere except the official Tortuga, Live Nation or Front Gate Tickets websites. We see far too many forgeries and bad tickets and they will not get you in to the Festival.

WILL THERE BE A BOX OFFICE AND WILL CALL LOCATION AT THE FESTIVAL?

Box Office info will come closer to the festival.

I HAVE CHANGED CREDIT CARDS AND NEED TO UPDATE MY PAYMENT PLAN BILLING INFORMATION, WHO DO I CONTACT?

WHEN WILL I GET MY WRISTBAND?

Wristbands are typically sent out closer to the festival (approx 4-6 weeks prior). We will let everyone know once they have started shipping!

I HAVE A 2020 WRISTBAND. CAN I USE IT FOR TORTUGA 2021?

2020 wristbands cannot be used to enter the festival. NEW 2021 wristbands will be shipped to purchasers with 2020 wristbands. Shipping will begin approx 4-6 weeks prior to the festival.

I THINK MY WRISTBANDS MAY HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE MAIL, WHAT DO I DO?

If you need assistance with tracking your wristbands, please reach out to Front Gate Tickets at 888-512-7469. Please note Wristband Distribution will begin approximately 4-6 weeks out from the festival.

I JUST GOT MY WRISTBAND! CAN I PUT IT ON EVEN THOUGH THE FESTIVAL IS STILL A MONTH AWAY?

No! Once wristbands are tightened they do not come undone. Tuck your wristband away somewhere safe and do NOT put it on until it is Tortuga Time!

CAN MY WRISTBAND GET WET?

Yes, your wristband will still work even if you decide to take a dip in the ocean!

DO YOU HAVE GROUP RATES?

Our Captains Cabanas can hold up to 20 people and are available for those who wish to experience Tortuga Music Festival in comfort and style! For more information head over to our passes page here.

ARE PASSES REFUNDABLE?

No, all sales are final.

WILL YOU SELL OUT?

Tortuga has sold out in the past. For 2021, if passes become limited, we’ll alert you on our social pages and website.

CASHLESS/REGISTERING WRISTBANDS

WHY SHOULD I REGISTER MY WRISTBAND?

It protects your investment and assigns that wristband to only you. It also offers extra protection if you should lose your wristband and need it replaced.

WHEN CAN I REGISTER MY WRISTBAND?

You can start registering your wristband once you receive it about 4 weeks prior to the festival. You can register it on our Tortuga App or online at TortugaMusicFestival.com.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CASHLESS?

Just visit our Register Wristband page, click to register and it’ll walk you through the steps to register your wristband and opt-in to sign up for Cashless program.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP FOR CASHLESS?

No. Although Registering your wristband is required, cashless is not. That being said, we highly encourage it as it will make your life much easier while at Tortuga with cashless, your credit card is securely attached to your wrist.

WILL I NEED TO BRING ANY OTHER FORM OF PAYMENT WITH ME?

Yes. We would recommend bringing some cash and/or a credit/debit card with you to the beach just in case the vendor you choose to shop with is one of the few that doesn’t accept cashless or in the very unlikely event of an issue with the cashless system.

HOW DOES THIS WORK? DO I HAVE TO DEPOSIT MONEY INTO AN ACCOUNT OR DOES IT CHARGE DIRECTLY TO MY CARD?

With cashless, there is no need to load any money onto your wristband as you might have experienced at some other events. When you register for the cashless option on your wristband you will securely link your credit or debit card with the wristband. So when you pay for something with your wristband, it will be just like swiping your card at a store. You even have a PIN number you will put in before you can purchase.

IF I LOSE MY WRISTBAND, WILL SOMEONE BE ABLE TO USE IT TO PURCHASE ITEMS?

No. Even though you will swipe your wristband to pay for items, you still have to punch in your PIN number for a transaction to take place. As long as you don’t give out your PIN number, your wristband is safe and cannot be used for cashless purposes by anyone else.

I ALREADY REGISTERED FOR CASHLESS BUT NEED TO EDIT MY CREDIT CARD INFO, HOW DO I DO THAT?

Go to our Register Wristband page and enter your wristband number again. It’ll then ask you for the email you used when you registered…. enter that email address. Your account information will then appear and you may edit as needed.

WILL I BE ABLE TO PAY FOR FOOD AND DRINKS WITH MY WRISTBAND?

Yes. Most food vendors on-site will accept cashless as a form of payment. That being said, we still recommend bringing cash and/or a card with you as a few food vendors, roaming food/drink carts, and craft merchants might not accept cashless.

WILL THERE STILL BE ATMS IN THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. These will be located around the grounds. Specific locations will be notated in the Tortuga mobile app.

IF I FORGET TO REGISTER MY WRISTBAND, CAN I DO IT ON-SITE AT THE FESTIVAL?

Yes. You may register your wristband on-site at any of the Guest Service booths located around the festival site or at the registration kiosks at the box office. You can also always register your wristband by going to our Register Wristband page here on the website or in the Tortuga App at any point before or during the festival!
